We are really pleased to announce that Oakway Nursery has received the ‘School-Based Nursery Capital Grant’ to expand the Early Years provision in our on-site nursery. This will allow us to provide up to 24 places for children aged 2 and 3 from September and invest in our children ahead of starting Early Years.

Who we are
Starting as an independent charity in 2009… We are funded by the county council for children to start preschool the term after their 3rd birthday. Offering a range of exciting activities to develop your child’s knowledge through play.We have a large open plan room and an enclosed playground which allows children to play and explore their surroundings through climbing, running, riding bikes and exploring the natural areas within the environment, in which the teachers plan for each day based on the child’s interests.
We offer 24 spaces per session, offering 5 morning sessions or 5 afternoon sessions. These hours can be extended if you qualify for the 30 hour entitlement. - BTEC National Diploma In Nursery Nursing.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for young people workforce early years.
- Level 3 Leadership and management.
- Designated safeguarding Officer
I am the Deputy Manager at Diamond Preschool, I have worked here since opening in 2009. My qualifications include:
- Level 3 Certificate in Childcare, learning and development.
- Level 3 Certificate in principles of leadership and management.
- Certificate of higher education in supporting learners with speech, language and communication needs.
- Designated Safeguarding Officer
I am a Nursery Nurse and SENCO. I have worked here since 2010. My qualifications include:
- Level 3 Diploma in Preschool Practices
- Level 3 in Counselling children and adolescents.
I am a Nursery Nurse at Diamond Preschool. My qualifications include:
